WaterKote Sealer

WaterKote SEALER is a 1 component water borne primer, developed to seal timber and parquetry floors and thereby ensure that the subsequent coat of WaterKote remains on the surface to maximise the wear layer. WaterKote SEALER incorporates an extended open time providing excellent flow and levelling, while retaining the natural colour of timber and has a slightly reduced sheen finish to assist in preventing misses in the next coat. Because water is used as the alternative carrier to solvent, Urethane Coatings WaterKote SEALER emits low VOC (volatile organic compounds) and is therefore user and environmentally friendly but retains the benefits of reduced risk of edge bonding and reduced tannin bleed.

USES:

Uses: WaterKote SEALER is used as a prime or 1st coat (sealing coat) for all uncoated (bare) timber species, parquetry and particle board. WaterKote SEALER has been developed to be coated with WaterKote GLOSS, WaterKote SATIN or WaterKote MATT, and is compatible with PURATHANE GLOSS, PURATHANE SATIN, and PURATHANE MATT
